Oil Tips Just For You

I'm always asked:

How do you apply your oil?

1. Rub the oil in your hands from the bottle.

2. Rub your hands together until you fill warmth this is to heat up the oil.

3. Gently pat or lightly rub  the oil on your body from the bottom up after you've moisturized your body. When you get dress follow steps 1-3 but be careful on your silks and light color clothes.

4. Go out and brighten someone's day with the aroma of this wonderful scent.

That's it!

Just FYI

Fragrance oils last longer because the scented substance that they hold is kept in a oil base freeze. Fragrance oil always lasts longer when applied on damp skin right after your fresh bath or shower.

When your skin is damp and your pores are open your skin will absorb the fragrance oil. Which causes the fragrance to last longer because the fragrance will not disperse as fast as it would if it remained on top of your skin.

Another cool tip is to always moisturize your skin then apply the scented oil on top. This process is called layering. When you layer the lotion with the fragrant body oil the lotion holds the fragrance captive which causes the scent to last longer.

When applying this fragrance to your body begin at the lower parts of your body then work your way up. Why? Because the fragrance rises as it disperse from the body. Scent don't go out it goes up. If you apply it too high on the body such as the neck and ears the benefits will be lost as the aroma scent goes straight up into the air, like chlorine.

What I love about our oil is that when you put it on it will last all day and you will forget you have it on.

A tip  that so many of my clients love is applying the oil with rubber gloves if you don't want the scent of the oil on your hands or you just want oily hands. You can also just wash your hands with soap and water when your done applying the oil.

In the winter time or during colder weather times apply more oil this will make the scent stronger. Why? Cold diminishes a scent's strength because heat is the accelerator that causes a fragrance to spread. Which is why we recommend you use more oil than normal during the winter season. The aroma is much stronger so you will get more benefit out of your oil during the winter season.

In the summer time you can wear much less oil this will have a lighter  fragrances scent and will disperse slower.  This is why we recommend you use less oil in the warmer seasons because it doesn't take much heat to get the benefits of the aroma.
